Things are going very well!

We are really enjoying things here in St. Paul! I'm still working on getting all the decor up; when I do I'll post pictures of it.
Last weekend JD's sister and brother-in-law came to visit! We had a great time! Here are some of the pictures from their visit......
We took them to the St. Paul cathedral and we got to see a wedding! It was really cool and the bride looked so pretty!
Cody and Kevin with the capital building in the background
A monument and the cathedral in the background
This is what St. Paul looks like! Lots of beautiful green trees!

This was a huge flower we saw while walking down a historic street with lots of old mansions!
This was hilarious and hard to catch without a video camera. Kevin was falling alseep while chewing gum and sitting up!!!!
We also went to the Mall of America. It was huge and almost overwhelming!

These are some of the rides that are in the mall. It's kinda cool! The rides aren't as big as Lagoon rides, but it's pretty crazy that they're inside the mall!
Madison slept well and like always was such a cutie!
Jessie and Kevin went on the Carousel. What a cute picture.

Jessie and Cody went on the Sponge Bob roller coaster!

When we got back we went swimming! Madison got to try out swimming for the first time. She didn't really like it - the water was colder then her bath water. She sure looked cute in her swimming suit though! Aunt Tessa gave it to her and it really is for next summer (18 month) and it was a little big, but my long baby kinda fit in it!

When I went in to get Madison from her nap this is what I found. Madison likes to wiggle and wake herself up, so I try and swaddle her really tight so she can't flail her arms. Well looks like I got the arms well but not the legs!!!!!!
Going shopping with mommy in my cute purple Nike onsie! So many ladies stopped me and wanted to see my little girl! It was fun to show off my little lady!

Love this!!!! (even though it's blurry) JD took her out of her car seat today and thought it was funny to sit her up on the couch! I thought it was very cute! She is getting better about holding her head up on her own - but we're still working on it!
I know, I know we have the cute kid there is!

She's also started to drool a lot and make little bubbles! If you look close in the picture she's got bubbles all over her chin!
Next are two videos of Madison. She is so fun! She will smile and coo at us all the time! I've tried so many times to catch it with the camera and these two videos kinda show it. I'm still trying to get the good ones.

JD is doing well. Classes start on Monday and he completed orientation this last week. It's going to be an insane amount of work, but I think he'll do great. We are also starting our work out on Monday. Last summer we did about 30 days of P90X and then petered out, so now we're going to do the full 90 days. When we come home for Christmas we will wow you all with our goodlookin bodies!!! :)

Love you all and miss you

We Made it!

We now live in St. Paul, MN! Here are some pictures from the move, our apartment, and some sight seeing....... Madison snuggled up with Daddy in our empty apartment.
This is how we lived for a day in our apartment. JD's family came down and helped us load the uhaul on Saturday. We left enough clothes out to make it till we got to MN and that was about all! We slept on our air matress Sat night and spent Sunday sitting on the floor leaning against the wall!

We left Sunday evening around 7:45ish, and drove 2 1/2 hours to Rock Springs, WY. My fam came with us and we couldn't have made it without them! My Dad drove the Uhaul and JD drove our car. We spent Monday night is Mitchell South Dakota, and arrived in St. Paul, MN Tuesday at about 4:00.
Along the way I noticed this rock/mountain that looked familiar!......We ended up driving right passed Devils Gate and Martins Cove. We stopped long enough to feed Madison and take a few pictures. We hope to go back and spend a couple hours there walking around!

The Sweet Water that the pioneers had to cross in the middle of winter.

Devils Gate
Madison was SO great on the long trip. She slept for most of it and wanted to eat at times that worked well for us! We were so blessed!

What a sleepy head!
The hubby driven. He and my Dad drove the whole way without switching with someone else!
This is Madie asleep the first night in our new apartment
Before my family flew back to Idaho we wanted to do some sight seeing. We don't know much about the place yet but we did know about the St Paul Catholic Cathedral. It was neat and very big.
A view of the capital from the cathedral.
Some of St Paul and my Mom & Sister

Madison slept all through the cathedral

It's hard to see just how big this really is

The windows in this place were very neat and there are LOTS of them.

The fam out front

We then went to the St Paul Temple! Is was very small compared to the Ogden and SLC temples! But still just as beautiful - and it has such a wonderful feeling! I was glad we went there, it helped calm some of my fears.

Our family! Madison is asleep - again!

JD took this picture and did a great job! It looks so Professional!
That's all for now. We're happy and doing well. I'll post more pictures and videos as they come along. JD is going to make video of our apartment sometime today and then I'll post that as well.
We love you all and miss you.
Thanks again to my wonderful family - your help is SO very much appreciated. We had a great couple days with you! LoVe Ya!

Madison at 2 Months & Camping pics!

Here is our sleeping beauty! I thought she looked cute! Here are camping pictures from Pioneer Day weekend at our family pond. We had a fun time. Shortly after arriving Tyrel and J.D. got in a wrestling match!!! Here are some actions shots!
Tyrel was picking on Blake when J.D. saw an opportunity to get Tyrel! It was kinda unfair cause J.D. got Ty by the neck before Tyrel could doing anything to protect himself!

This is of Blake trying to stay involved with the match but not sure where to get in the pile at!!! Also Ty is lifting everyone up!

This picture doesn't really show it but Ty's face was going purple.

These silly boys wrestled for a lot time. I told J.D. to be careful or he'd throw up from working so hard!

J.D. ended up winning
Lucy, Grandma O, and Madison. Lucy looks so cute!
CUTE! We told Lucy to give her a kiss! When you ask her who this is she says, "Baby Madison!" It is so cute!
We would get in this big tractor tire and roll down the hill. It was Tessa and I's job to stop Blake from rolling in to the pond. As you can see we didn't do so good!!!! :) What's even funnier is then next time Blake went we thought we had figured out how to stop him, but he still landed in the pond!!!!!! Ty didn't trust us to catch him after that!

This was a dieing dragon fly that landed on J.D.'s foot. It was huge!
Great Grandma Barnes and Baby Madison

Shot gun shooting

We did a lot of shot gun shooting! It was fun! There aren't any pics of me shooting, but I must say I did a pretty good job!
I like this picture!

My hubby!

Grandma time
I love this beautiful place! We'll miss seeing it for awhile.

Blake and John shooting with Jordin and Kieley watching.
Tyrel teaching Alyona (friend from Ukraine) how to shoot. Her first shot knocked her back pretty good!
My good looking sis learning how to shoot a shot gun from my pa-in-law.

Alyona shooting
My Mom came down to help with Madison while I packed and I finally caught some pictures of her smiling. This is new from last week. After eating and getting a clean diaper Madison will smile and smile at me when I talk to her. It is so fun to have her recognize me!
More smiles

On Tuesday Madison had her two month check up and got her shots. This is her passed out after the painful experience. She looked so cute.

Shortly after that picture Madison woke up with a fever and not feeling good. Madison has never been that way before. She just cried and whimpered. This was the only position that she was content - She just needed her mommy. I held her close as she whimpered. Baby Tylenol thankfully came to the rescue.
Her appointment went really well! She is in the 95% for length at 24 1/8 in.!!!! We have such a long baby girl! Where would that have come from!? She weighs 12 lbs and is in the 75 %. Her head circ. is in the 50 percentile.
She's very healthy and we love her.
Moving.......It's coming so very quickly. Our house is a mess right now. There are boxes everywhere. We pick the Uhaul up on Saturday and we'll leave either Sunday night or Monday morning.
