Mommy made me baby leggings cause it's getting cold!

I've got LOTS of pics on this one & even a video!!
The other day I asked JD to get Madison dressed. (normally I do it!) Well this is how she came out!!! As you can see in the picture JD is quite proud of himself! She's wearing Nike sweat pants, a gray flowers dress for the top and then the hat to tie it all together!
Madison - Such a cutie!!
This was after church! She slept for about 3 hours!!!
This was last night....she fell asleep at about 8:30 slept for an hour then woke up and just laid in her crib (this never happens!) with her eyes open not even making a sound. After about 15 min she began to cry for someone to get her. JD got her out and she snuggled up against him! She looked so cute so I took this picture! ....She ended up staying up till 11:30 just talking and smiling at us. It was adorable but we were tired!
Here is my latest craft project!!! I made Madison these baby legs. I was very proud of how they turned out. They're very addicting and I just want to keep making them! I'm telling myself that I can't. I've thought about selling them so I can make more!!!:)
See aren't they so cute on her!!
I am so happy that they keep her legs warm, now she can keep wearing her shorts!
This play gym was a craigslist find!!! I only paid $10 for it and it is like new! She loves it. She'll just talk and talk while playing with it! I'll put a video of it on next time!
More pics of the leggings! These are what she's wearing today!

Here's a video from the other night. I went into the bathroom to get her bath ready and when I came back to get her this was what I found!!

JD and I are so grateful for Madison, it is truly amazing how much joy she brings into our lives! I absolutely love being a mommy!
JD is very busy with school. He's been sick the last little bit. He got an infection about a week ago in his throat and we thought it was all better, but it's coming back. We'll be headed to the health center on campus tomorrow.
Glad John's surgery went well! Hope your Netflix come in handy!

My Goal: Someday

So as many of you know one of my latest obsessions is thrift shopping! I love to get the best deal out there! I've been able to get a lot of free stuff or close to free over the last couple of months. Well on one of the blogs I follow I found this picture of what I want......
Unfortunately I don't have the room currently to do that much, but I can start small for now. Here is a picture of some of what I have so far.
Hopefully someday I'll have a big storage room and then I can really start stockpiling!

If you want to start following some thrift blogs these are my two favs:

Today by shopping with coupons and the sales I spend $50 and saved $40!!

Santa Clause in a purple leotard on rollerblades in the park!!!!

.... and wearing a fanny pack!!
So funny and sad story about this picture! My friend Tandy and I were walking around one of the many parks here when Tandy said, "Ashlynn in about 2 seconds look to your left." I looked over to see one of the funniest sights ever!!! An old man with white hair and a white beard wearing a bright purple leotard, black fanny pack, rollerblading through the park!!!!!! I have named him Santa Clause on wheels! I hurried to try and take a picture and this was the best I could get - sorry you can't see his white hair, but still hilarious! Now the the bad part........ When I turned around to try and get the pic I let go of the stroller and Madison began to roll away unbeknownst to me. I heard Tandy gasp and turned around just in time to see the stroller tip over off the curb.
Of course I freaked!! I ran over looked at my crying baby to make sure she was ok. Carseats are wonderful things and my daughter was okay just scared. I told Tandy I felt like a terrible mom.
Madison was just fine but it scared the livin tar outa me. Just looking at the picture makes my heart pump - and not cause of the pasty white legs in the pic either!!Here are some pics from the park. And here is our little sunshine!
A little family pic! Our baby is so cute!

I love it when she does this! Makes me a happy mommy.
Now here are some 2 month pics that I took a few weeks ago. They are CUTE. Sorry everyone else with a child - but mine is the cutest!

As I mentioned before I love this picture - it's already on display in our home!
Cutest outfit from Aunt Kieley
Madie was grumpy and tired and fell asleep in the swing with her arms out!

Daddy Daugther time. Madison thinks it's funny to ignore her Daddy sometimes. I know she's only 3 months but she does it!
Thanks to Aunt Tessa Madie got to wear this when we went out on the town!
This is in one of our parks! - I'm tellin ya it's beautiful here!
This is my friend Tandy and her two little girls. Funny story - she went to Highland a year before JD, was in student government with JD and knew JD's uncle Bryce. When we met them at church she said, "Your from Pocatello, you spoke at Bryce's funeral." Then she looked at her husband and said he's the one who wore the funny hat! - Small world!

This was last night! I got her just as she looked at me!
Madison likes to watch Daddy play his games!
Well we're doing very well. JD is not really enjoying school, but I think it's going fine. As you can see Madison is grow up and cuter then ever. And I'm really enjoying St Paul. Currently I'm learning how to shop the deals here - and I'm enjoying the challenge.
