Long day & Some crafts from Madison!

Today we went to a child birthing class at the hospital. My husband was not excited about having to go in the first place, but he stayed up until almost 4 last night playing video games so this morning's 6:45 alarm did not treat him well. I almost gave in and let him sleep in, but I decided I had told him about this class and it was his decision to stay up so late. Well.....the class was WAY longer then it needed to be. It lasted from 8am to 4 pm with an hour lunch. SO ridiculous. The information that I found helpful would have only taken an hour to go over. I am happy to say though my husband did not moan as much as I thought he would; just slept through many of the videos!!! :) I think it gave him some satisfaction knowing that I found it to have been a waste of time!

It did get me excited and nervous about what will be happening in less then 2 months!

Here is a picture of me at 32 weeks:

More getting ready for Madison! I made this a little while ago. I used the left over fabric I had from her quilt.

This is a cute fabric flower that I also made out of fabric leftover from her quilt! I was happy with how it turned out!

Another craft project! This one didn't really cost me anything. I found the sticks outside and used some paint that I already had. I was excited with how it turned out!

It was easy, cheap and it adds some contrast against the dark wall.

Less than a week!

I don't have any pictures with me, so this will be a picture less blog, but I just had to write and say, "Tyrel comes home in less than a week!" One week from to day we'll be in Idaho with family and hangin out with my bro-in-law who has been gone on a mission for two years!! Hurray!
Also exciting is we are now 32 weeks along. I only have 6 more week of working! Hurray!
Another interested story that happened to JD this week is a lady at his work had a heart attack. She even started to turn blue. JD said it was very scary but luckily the lady is okay. Her son was making a mess of things though, JD had to pull him aside and tell him to settle down cause he was making things worst. JD was very ready for that day to be over.
Okay last exciting thing! I just had to tell you that I got the best deal ever - instead of paying for a box of tampons I'll get paid for them!!!!!! Really I'll only be getting about $.70 back as increase, but that's even better than it just being free!!!
We have a dr. apt today so hopefully we get a good picture that I can post tonight!

We're movin' away.....

So this week JD was accepted to U of Detroit and Hamline University for law school. Detroit didn't offer a scholarship so that school is out, but Hamline did which means we'll be heading to law school in August. We're still waiting to here back from another school before we really decide where we're going, but at this point it's looking like Minnesota will be our home for the next three or four years. We're both very nervous and very excited.
About a week ago I finished Madison's rag quilt! I'm really happy with how it turned out. Now I'll make a crib skirt and some curtains!
JD and I had our 30 week Dr. apt on Wednesday. Everything still is looking great! Last month when we went in our midwife said I had gained 15 lbs during the pregnancy and said that was very good. Then this week she said Holy Cow you gained 10 lbs in three weeks! I told her no way; I've been eating exactly the same, even walked (well waddled!) to work a couple times and my pants still fit like they did before. She then said I was the third person that day to have been surprised so maybe her scale was off. I sure hope it was off!!!!!! That is WAY more then the pound a week you're supposed to gain. Hopefully next time I go in I will have lost 7 lbs!

It's getting a lot closer, I now go to the dr. every two weeks!!!!
