LOTS of Pictures!

So just to let you know - these pictures are backwards! Oops! Most recent pictures are at the beginning instead of the end.
First - I want to wish this cutie a happy 2nd birthday!!!! This is Lucy my niece! I took this picture while we were camping Memorial Weekend. And now to the loads of pictures of Madison!!!! This picture is her at 5 weeks! She's getting so big! We went to the Dr. on July 12th and she weights 10lbs 3oz. She had gained 2 1/2 lbs since our last appointment!!! Also good news is that her eyes are doing just fine! We went to the eye dr. and he said everything looks good. And she is starting to follow us really well with her eyes. The other day she looked right at me and smiled when I said, "Hi Madison!"
JD and I love this picture!!! I haven't done any special effect to this yet, but I hope to soon.
Most of the next pictures are from some mini phone shoots I've done!! :)
This one is just so funny!!! I love it!
I also want to do some special effects to this one!
Cute!
I don't know why blogger rotated this picture. Grrrr. Just turn your head sideways and it will look normal!!!!!

This is her just after a BIG stretch!
This is her in her blessing dress! She wore the blessing dress I was blessed in and that my Grandma Barnes made for me. I thought she was pretty darn cute! And yes all the flowers she wears I made - it was fun!

And here are some family pictures from after the blessing. Madison Rose Oborn was bless on July 4, 2010 by her Daddy! It was a wonderful blessing and it was fun to get to bless her on the 4th! For those of you who don't know her Dad named her after James Madison and Theodore Roosevelt!
My Sis and I with Madison - look how white I look next to her!!! I used to get a tan when worked on the farm, now I'm inside way too much.
Madison's Mom, Grandma Michele, and Great Grandma &pa Barnes
JD with his Dad and his Dad's parents.
JD, Grandma Terri and Great Grandpa Dye
Daddy and Madie!
All the grandpas and Dad's at the blessing!!!!!
I love this little one!
Mom, Grandpa Twain, and Great Grandma Hayden
Note: Notice that Madison does not have the flower on now!!! Great Grandma Hayden didn't want it on for the picture because she thought it was mean of me to have it on Madison when she couldn't take if off if it was bothering her. It went right back on for the next picture!
Mommy and Madison
All the grandmas and moms - pretty cool!
Grandpa and Madison!
She goes cross eyed a lot!
Family Pic after the blessing - Madison was not happy, she just wanted to eat.
Here is a picture of my ring sling and her fast asleep in it. She loves it and so do I! You can't see the ring sling very well, but it's one of my favorites that I've made!
These next pictures she was about three weeks old.
I love this one!!!! She has the cutest feet ever!
I'm quite proud of this picture!!! I've always wanted to be able to do this to a picture and I finally know how. Isn't she so beautiful!
Another one of my favorites! I got this bow at a baby shower! JD hates this picture, he hates that it shows our daughters bottom! I still think it's cute!
Also cute - was taken the same day.
This was a special effect that I tried; it didn't turn out super.

Love it!
Well those are the most recent pics! We love her so much! She is growing so fast, but every day we say how beautiful she is! What a joy this parenting is!
Update on law school and the move. We move to Minnesota in 2 1/2 weeks. We load up the uhaul on Saturday, August 7th and leave on August 9th. It's getting so close and we have so much to do.

Father's Day and Madison Udate

These first pictures were taken on Father's Day! Madison was 14 days old.
Even though it is late I have to say Happy Father's Day to JD. This new parent stuff has been such a joy for the both of us! I love to watch JD with Madison; he is such a good Daddy! The other night he began reading to Madison (a book on Thomas Jefferson!) and tonight she gets to learn about Theodore Roosevelt! It was so cute and I loved it!
Daddy's Little Girl!Madison's outfit was a gift from Grandma Oborn and it was so cute on her! This picture happened as I was doing this blog! JD was holding her and told me to come look! She is the most adorable little thing ever! I love to just sit and look at her! Madison with Mommy
Snoozin' on Daddy's lap
This is her favorite way to sleep!
This was after a shopping trip with Mom: It wiped her out!!
JD and I's most said phrase: What a Cutie!

I'm proud to say I made this Sun Hat for Madison!
It turned out very cute and she looks so good in it!

I think I'm going to start selling them! (Let me know if you want one)

Madison loves to make some of the funnest facial expressions when she has just eaten and is starting to fall asleep. I've had a hard time catching it on video, but I finally caught a little of it. I wish it showed more of her expressions but at least I caught a big smile!!!!

Madison has been the greatest blessing! We love her so much.
At Madison's two week appointment she weighed 7lbs 11oz. Our Dr. said she looks very healthy. The only thing she had a concern about was her eye development. If Madison's eye sight hasn't improved by 1 month then we have to go back and see her. We are praying that everything will develop properly.

Meet Madison Rose Oborn

Madison Rose was born on June 7, 2010 at 11:26!
She weighed 7lbs 6oz and was 21 1/4 in long!
Everything went very well especially for this being our first baby. At about 3:00 I started to keep track of my contractions and they were 3-5 mins apart. Not all of them were very painful though so I called my women's center to ask if they all had to be painful; they said no. I called JD at work and told him I was having contractions consistently. He asked if I could wait 40 more mins till he was done with work!! I told him I was anxious but that I would be okay to wait. After getting off the phone with him I mopped my floors, started the dishes and then went and speed walked the neighborhood for about 15 mins till he came home!!!!
When JD got home he asked if he could take a shower!!! I reluctently told him sure and that I should probably take one too since I didn't know how long till I'd get another one!
We got to hospital about 6:00. My Midwife broke my water a couple hours later. 15 mins after that I was begging for an epidural. By 11:00 I was pushing and 11:26 Madison was born!!!!! The nurses couldn't believe that it went that fast!
We love our baby girl! I am loving the experience of being a mommy! It's amazing! JD has been so wonderful too. My Dr. told me I'd get the "weepies" and JD has been so understanding and supporting through all the crazy hormone stuff! I love him more then ever!!
Here are a lot of pictures of our princess!

Grandma and Grandpa shortly after Madison was born
JD is the best Daddy ever!!!!

What a cutie!
Madison loves to sleep with her hands above her head. I swaddle her really tight and in just a short time her hands are out!!
Our first family photo! The Sunday after her birth.
Grandma and Madison (Madie looked very cute for church!)
Grandpa and Madison

JD thought this was funny!!! You can't really tell, but she is not laying on her back, but is propped up on the couch.
The Best Daddy!

Madison grins like this after she has eaten. I've had a hard time catching it, but I finally caught one! I'll have to try and get one when she has a full grin! This morning she even did a little laugh while she was asleep!
