Our cute kids!

Madison is such a cute big sister! She has adapted well to having another little one that she has to share time with. She’s very soft and talks to him in the cutest little voice! The other day she brought all of her dolls out to sleep with Hayden on the couch, she put her little white chair in front of the couch and told Hayden and her babies a good night story! We tell her a story every night before bed and it’s normally about Princess Madison and how she and Dora or Word Girl save someone. Her story she told was about Princess Madison too….it was so cute to hear!

Hayden is two weeks old. He has been such a good baby….he sure does grunt and moan A LOT though! It’s super embarrassing at church. The good thing though is her rarely actually cries. He has been sleeping rather well most nights, he’ll normally give me at least one three hour stretch. It’s fun to see how proud his Daddy is when he holds him….JD has been extremely busy the last three weeks and wishes he could just stay home with us all the time. I wish he could too. I have to say though I am pretty proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish since having Hayden…..We survived on our own for two and half weeks before my Mom came; I still made most of our meals (we had three meals that our nice ward members brought for us), the kitchen was clean almost every night, I still was able to take a nap everyday, and spend some playtime with Madison, we even went to the park!

Madison has been a little bored in the mornings so I’ve been trying to get creative with keeping her busy….last week we made puffy paint and she made pumpkins, ghosts and a snowman. It was a fun project…..and best of all is her hair! It’s getting longer so when I haven’t done it it can get pretty crazy!

Madison has been quite the cook lately. She is always asking me if she can help me cook. The other day we made muddy buddies which she loved! She also likes to clean out my fridge with anything that looks interesting at the time, put it on the counter and then say, “Help me cook Mom.” The other day it was buttermilk, apple sauce, and balsamic vinegar salad dressing! Yummy!

Lounging with her Daddy is one of her favorite things!

JD was watching a show on his IPad with Hayden and Madison was on the other couch watching a show on my phone! The house isn’t too big of a mess for having a two week old!Smile

Madison’s Halloween costume came in the mail last week…She was so excited she had been waiting and waiting for it! She put it on and then told her Daddy to get down and be Bullseye, she climbed up and said, “Giddy-up Bullseye!”

We are so happy! It’s amazing how much fun our two little kiddos are. Everyday we say things like, “Oh, my look how cute he is!”, “She is such a cutie!” “I sure love her!”, “What a good little boy!”, “We are so lucky!” ……..Even when school and work are stressful and we’re not getting much sleep it’s all worth it to have the two cutest kids ever!
