Grandma Came to Play!

This little guy is so fun to have around the house! I love to hold him!

This silly lady loves shopping day! She will play with the paper bags for hours! She’ll get her scissors and cut them to pieces, she’ll fill them with all her toys, and the other day she cut a hole out of the front, put the handles over her arms and said it was her jacket!

Grandma came for two weeks and we had so much fun! Every night Madison wanted a story from Mommy, Daddy and Grandma!

Good news…she still loves her brother! She does the cutest things! She’ll get down on the floor with him and talk to him….She has started singing I Am A Child God and when Hayden is crying she’ll starting it to him. When he stops crying she says, Hayden like that!

We have the cutest little boy in the whole world! He’s three weeks old now…it’s going by so fast.

Making Halloween cookies with Grandma! She thought it was so much fun….she thought it was like playing with playdough. She enjoyed the decorating though….she mostly just ate the candy!

This was a cute progression of Madison playing with Hayden!

Letting her puppies watch the show with her!

So Madison was in her bed and Hayden was fed and asleep so we decided we’d take advantage of getting to go to bed early. I had just fallen asleep and was woken up by a happy little curly head telling me to get Jessie (Toy Story doll) and her in “own bed.” This means “your bed.” I was half awake but she was being cute! JD and I were laughing so hard!

My Mom and I made Madison some raingutter bookshelves! Madison was so excited and I love them! She’ll sit and read for a long time. She goes to sleeping reading and so it’s very nice to have a shelf above her bed!

I’m sad to say this is our first family photo…..we had to wait for Grandma to come so someone could take it.

Grandma bought this dress up dress for Madison….she loves to twirl and dance in it!

We loved that Grandma watched the kids so we could go on a date! We went for dessert and drinks at Olive Garden. It was so fun! The food was good, our waiter gave us about 20 Andes mints, and best of all it was great to sit and talk and actually be able to hold hands on our way to the car!

We took Madison to the Children’s Museum….she had fun showing Grandma everything…especially giving Grandma a ride in the car. The bubbles and the water play is still her favorite part of the Museum.

We wiped the kids out at the museum!

JD got Madison a life size Jessie doll…..Madison is now in heaven! She loves to hold Jessie and watch Toy Story 2!

We took Grandma to Gordman’s and Madison found a shopping cart to push through the store and then found this show and both her and the cart and watching it!

We sure loved having Grandma at our house we were sad she had to leave……Madison wants to have Grandma come back to her house. It was nice to have the extra help around the house and to get to have my Mom see Madison play and to get to hold Hayden!
