SOOOOO much to tell about!!!

First..... Before we left for Idaho we had to take a picture with Elder Brooks just in case he was transferred while we were gone. He is such a great missionary and we will miss him a lot when he goes home next month. Madison just wanted to look at him during the pictures!!!
 Now to Christmas........
This was Christmas at our house before we ran to the airport. If we started the presents Madison could finish it off, but it took a LONG time!
She got a Hungry Hungry Hippo Game and Battleship... I know, I know she was on 6 months but they were free and she could care less!
 HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!
We were in Idaho from Dec 22 - Jan 10. It was great fun!
We learned Madison is the fan of the piano!

Guess this was what she wanted for Christmas!

Madie was SO cute opening her presents! She sat there loving that everyone was looking at her and  just squeezing the bow!

When she finally tore it and everyone cheered and clapped she got SO excited! She put her hands into fists and squealed!

Madison got to meet her 2nd cousin Lydia while we were home. They were SO cute together,; as you can see Madison is super excited about it!!!! Lydia is 12 months and Madison is 6 months and they are the same size!

Madison woke us all up for Christmas at 5 in the morning! Stayed awake for all her presents to get open then passed back out!!

Grandpa teaching her to use her new phone!

That's my baby alright!!! She'll be dribbling before she's walking!

Two Proud Daddys!!!!
We spent two different days with Mike and Amanda! They were nice enough to have there baby three weeks early just so we could meet her!!! Chloe Marie is beautiful and their parents have already decided they will be best friends!

Madison pulled the blanket over her face and couldn't figure out what was wrong.  When we play peek-a-boo she can pull the blanket that way and it comes right off....this time that wasn't working! :)

She had just woken up and still wanted some cuddle time!
My uncle Paul took this at my Aunt's Wedding! I love it!

Lucy and Jordin jammin' out!!

She's never had Sprite before, but she knew what she was supposed to do with the can!

Eatin lunch at the airport like a big girl!

Chilllin with Dad in Denver!

In this video Madison is making herself rock!!

We had a wonderful time with family, but man did our own bed feel wonderful!

And Finally to conclude with a VERY embarrassing story....
We had the missionaries over the other night and they asked me to say the prayer before they left. As I was praying I said, "Please bless the missionaries to have.....and instead of saying success.... I said sex. HOW terrible! We were all red faced and laughing! I was even embarrassed when I saw them today at church.

I tried to load a really cute video, but my sister has it on her blog, click HERE to see it.

Toe Jam.....YuMmY!!!

IT's here!!!!.... Tomorrow Madison gets to see her Grandparents that she hasn't see in a long time!!
I still have a lot to do, but I just can't get motivated.

It was snowing yesterday and so we bundled up when we took the mail out! Madie was cute in her snowsuit hand-me-down from her cousin, it sure was tight! I think it's not going to last all of winter.
Madison was having a great time in the chair; laugh, talk, laugh, talk!
 I found my toes! Yummy!
So funny! She was folded in half!
Big toe beats the thumb anyday!

Well that's all for today, we'll keep in touch during the break!

Oh, what......JD took he last final today! HURRAY semester #1 is finished!

Where to start....missionaries, Madie's first food, blizzard, etc.

I've been a MAJOR slacker! Madie started on solids over a week ago and I haven't even posted about it.
Don't worry this post will make up for all I've missed!!  Make sure you see the video at the very end!!

So to begin.......These are our missionaries! They live right next to us so we spend a lot of time with them! It has been such a blessing. Growing up we didn't see the missionaries much, so to have them in our home sometime multiple times a week has been a new and wonderful experience for me. They remind me the I should be thinking of my Savior all day!
But I really took this picture for my sis! Elder Brooks (on right) has become my pick for Kie's future hubby!
Cross you fingers!

Now....this little cutie has been so fun lately! She has begun to have conversations with her Mommy! LOVE IT!
She got the Marker in there all by herself! That purple highlighter is her fav toy!

Her Daddy is trying to train her to like video games. So far, a success!

FOOD!!!!! On Sunday the 5th Madie tried out Rice cereal and loved it!
There is video of it at the end!
Since then she has also tried Avocado and is a fan. I'm making all of her food which has been fun!

I LOVE THIS!
J.D. was reading her an article and she was so interested!

She is just the cutest thing in the whole world!

Being silly!
Who ordered SNOW......cause you GOT IT!
We had a CrAzY blizzard last weekend. We were snowed in from Saturday morning until late Monday night.
The Vikings stadium (in Minneapolis) even collapsed to tell ya how bad it was!
This was during the blizzard.
This was take Sunday!

Our car is the second one (next to the blue van), as you can see we were not going anywhere!

It felt so good to get out of the house Tuesday morning!

My silly hubby! She was afraid of the missionaries, he was helping with breakfast and couldn't hold her so he plopped her up there.

She was only up there long enough for a picture and then Mom came to her rescue!

Fell asleep in Daddy's arms!
Precious!
Here is Madison eating her first solids, it was edited to make it shorter!

J.D. has taken three finals and has two more to go.
We'll be coming home on the 22nd and can't to see you all.
Love ya!

Lots of fun stuff!

There is a super cute video at the end so make sure you see it!!!

I've got a lot of catching up to do so here we go....
First Thanksgiving! We spent Thanksgiving with JD's sister Jessie and her family and had a blast!
This is of course her Daddy's doing!!
And so was this one!!!!!! She is sporting Mr. Potato Head's glasses! (Oh and you can see some of my new SHORT haircut!)
This is Cody getting the Turkey ready to thaw out over night! We were laughing and being silly cause it was almost 1 in the morning!
Cody cutting the delicious turkey!!

JD and Madison full of turkey and happy for a nap!

So here's so everyone can see what we did to my hair!! It took some getting use to, but I really like it now!

This was too funny and cute! Madison was practicing tummy time on Daddy!
In this picture she took a lick of Dad's hair and thought it tasted not so good!

JD's ear was full of drool after this!

I made this bow tie for JD to wear school with some of his other classmates!!! It turned out pretty good!

Our Christmas tree is up!!!! Thanks to my Mommy I get to have one this year!

I made this and LOVE how it turned out! The picture just doesn't  do it justice. Guess you'll all just have to come and see for yourself!

Our little cutie pie! She's so excited to be wear the new hat that Mommy made for her!!

Bonding Time!!

The hat I made is a little too big and falls down over her eyes!

"I'm so glad when Daddy comes home!" This is just after we got home from picking up her Daddy! She gets so happy when he's home!
And now.... The cute video! This is Madison's new language! At first we thought she was just trying to laugh, but now we have decided that she is talking!!! Funny stuff! - She just makes us laugh all day long!

JD took his first final on Wednesday and is now done with two of his classes. The rest of his finals are through out the month and he is NOT excited about it. It means WoRk, work, WORK for poor JD.

Can't wait for you all to see our cutie pie in person!!
