The Month of February

Where has this month gone?! I feel like I’m constantly behind…

Make up, Make Up, make up! Madison loves it and is teaching Eli all the in’s and outs!!

Madison loves to help sweep! Most of the time it is not helpful!

Madison wrapped her arm around her Daddy while they were watching a movie! It was very cute!

And for Super Bowl weekend Jessie and Cody came over! We’d had lots of fun and ate lots of food! I didn’t take many pics though. This one was the kids sitting on our bed watching Dragon Tales while we watched the game on JD’s new 51”.

Oh Tate is our best friend ever! JD has said that they are just like a couple SO in love with each other, but do everything they can to drive the other crazy!! Every week when Emily goes to pick up Tate from nursery he won’t leave Madison there all alone! So Em has to get her too most weeks! They are SO cute!

She thought it was SO funny that she was laying on the wall!

PAINTING THE TUB! Madie and Tate had a blast doing this…well Madison did, Tate wasn’t so happy when the shaving cream would get on him; And Madison liked to paint him!

Madison has to do EVERYTHing Daddy does! Even brush her teeth and spit in the sink the SAME way and at the SAME time!! And yes she’s wearing Woody underwear!

OH she likes Root Beer!!! She was hilarious standing on the coffee table drinking Root Beer in her underwear! SO FUnny!

I was in the Kitchen cleaning when I heard, “Mama come” so I came into the bathroom and found this!!!! Wish it wasn’t blurry.

As you can see she had gotten my glasses before. I had to tape it back together! I normally get mad anytime she has my glasses but she looked so cute with them on I had to get a picture first!

As you may have noticed during these pictures she went from diapers to underwear!!!! Yes our daughter in 100 % wearing panties! Well minus naptime and bedtime. She really wanted to start so we started training the first full week on Feb and it has gone great! There were a couple days that I wanted to go crazy (but I always kept my cool!) and even now there is an occasional accident. She’s made it through a month of Sundays without an accident at church, and today we went to a movie and during the movie she told me she had to go potty so we went and then went back to the movie! SO… YES you can POTTY TRAIN a 21 MONTH OLD! 

OH and some more BIG news…….MY SIS IS ENGAGED!!!! She will be marrying Adam Packer on May 26th! congrats sis!

Madison was devastated when Grandma got too tired to do more rides……But luckily Aunt Kieley came to the rescue and gave her some really fast rides!

Granny made some delicious roasted almonds and Madison LOVED them! For awhile she would eat the whole almond, but then she figured out it was faster and yummier just to suck off all the sugar and then spit out the rest!

This is JD and Mike catching up while playin’ videogames! It was sure great to hang out with our friends Mike and Amanda again. I think next year Chloe and Madison will be best buds like their Daddies!

FEELS so GOOD to be home!!

Madison got this Elmo from Santa….and is in love! Shorty after getting home she put Elmo safely in my boot!…..I laughed so hard, it looks so funny!!!!

This was just two nights ago!!! She was thrilled that the grapes would stay on Daddy’s head!!!!

So yes we’re home and safe and happy. JD in back into school and overall it’s a much better semester…either that or he’s doing better at hiding it from me!

Madison is growing like crazy and went potty in the toilet two weeks ago…..she loves to sit on the potty and she has now worn pulls a couple times and thinks they’re pretty cool! She is also talking up a storm and has a new found love for Buzz (Toy Story!). We love her and can’t believe the happiness she brings into our little home!

Catching Up…Before Christmas

I can’t believe I haven’t updated since November…where did December and January go?

Madison, Eli and Tate love to unload our newspaper basket….this day Madison go stuck inside it!!

Eli loves to watch JD play video games, he gets a chair and puts it right in front of the TV…then Madison gets jealous and has to go get her own chair too!!! Or as shown in the first picture, she loves to sit on the coffee table inside my little basket!

Madison and Eli have become great friends! They now like to hold hands! As you can see by Madie’s face they were having a lot of fun!

My Mom came for a week at the end of November and beginning of December to help after my surgery. I still wasn’t feeling 100% so I don’t have any pictures on my camera from her coming out. We had so much fun with Grandma! We got to show her all the fun things we do everyday!…..Madison sure loves her Grandma, she loved having her here. Grandma also gave Madison her Christmas gift while she was here. She got this awesome isle that has a chalkboard, white board and a paper roll. She LOVES it!

This has become a favorite of Madison's, curl up on the couch with a blanket and watch Sesame Street or Toy Story!…She really likes Buzz!

Ok so if you look close you’ll see there is purple paint ALL OVER my floor and the pillows. I had paint out to work on my Mom’s Christmas present and I was talking to my friend Emily and Madison got the paint bottle open and managed to get it all over herself, the wall, the carpet and Tate! It took forever to get it out of our carpet, but we did it! JD of course don’t let me forget it either!

This was part of Madison’s Christmas present from us….she is obsessed with babies and she loves to get in her babies bed with her baby!
